Plaque, couple avec pomme

A gorgeous ceramic plaque showing the faces of a couple in front of a green tree covered in orange apples. The man and woman are in unglazed black/grey chamotte with brown hair and eyes added in glaze, and the tree is glazed on a white ground. The woman is offering the man an apple in an echo of the story of Original Sin, and is part of a series of works on the theme of Adam & Eve which includes other plaques and sculptures. The plaque can be hung on the wall, displayed on a shelf or used as a fruit bowl or as a tray for emptying the contents of your pockets on.

Une superbe plaque céramique avec les visages d’un couple devant un arbre vert couvert de pommes oranges. La femme offre une pomme à l’homme rappellant l’histoire du péché originel et elle fait partie d’une série de plaques et autres œuvres qui s’occupent du thème d’Adam et Eve. Les visages sont laissés sans émail en chamotte noir et les autres parties sont émaillées. Le tout est réalisé entièrement à la main comme toutes mes pièces. On peut l’accrocher au mur, la mettre à l’honneur sur une étagère ou s’en sert comme compotier ou vide poche sur la table ou le buffet.
